in a North, Northwest direction from
Alba to the Boyne and Jordan Rivers,
to Lake Charlevoix, Round Lake and Lake
Michigan.

CONTAMINATED WATER |

(Cement kiln dust
leachate) from Bay
Harbor must
not be transported to

Please support the FOJ/POWER
Resolution |
|
The Alba injection well poses
unacceptable risks to ground and surface water, and
threatens to endanger some of the most beautiful and
pristine rivers in our state. We all have a stake in
this battle.
Please join with us and add your name to the
attached
resolution.
Our most valuable and powerful
resource in this fight is public opinion. We must
keep the pressure on CMS, on the politicians and on
the EPA and DEQ to clean up the waste at Bay Harbor
and not risk spreading the contamination to other
watersheds. We must let them know that the people,
organizations, businesses, townships and councils in
Northern Michigan are united in our desire to
protect our natural resources and oppose this well.
Please make copies of this resolution and hand them
out to your organizations, and send to your mailing
lists.
Together we can make a difference.

Thank you for your support.
